I’m so happy for Andy and Maxine,
comments Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, Adam Lange. They have a great family, and run a very successful company that is so deserving of this award. It has been very rewarding to work with them as they have grown the company, and I look forward to many more years to come. Congratulations to Andy and his team on the achievement!
After over 70 years, Vande Hey Company remains a family-oriented company whose name has become synonymous with lush lawns, beautiful flower gardens, remarkable hardscapes, and spectacular living spaces.
Growth is at the Root of Vande Hey Company’s History
In 1950, Len Vande Hey founded Vande Hey’s Landscaping in Little Chute, Wisconsin with an early business model focused primarily on installing lawns. After Len’s son Gerald returned from the army, he took over the family business. In 1975, Gerald relocated the company to its current location in Appleton, Wisconsin, and expanded its business operations to include a design center, outdoor living center, and operation facilities, outdoor structures, and athletics.
In 2002 Gerald’s son Andy – who now represents the third generation of ownership – took over the role of President, a position he holds today. Andy has continued to grow the company through strategic and innovative initiatives; adding custom-tailored outdoor living spaces and a design-driven sales approach to maximize customer service experiences.
Andy knows this award couldn’t have been achieved alone. He credits the hard work of his talented, dedicated team to their many successes, and thanked his employees for the commitment to the Vande Hey Company culture.
