LITTLE CHUTE – BLC Community Bank is proud to announce the promotions of Adam Lange, promoted to Senior Vice President – Chief Lending Officer, and Mel Hietpas, promoted to Vice President – Private Banking.

“Adam Lange has been promoted to Senior Vice President and added to BLC’s Board of Directors, to replace a recent retirement by James Geerts,” says BLC Community Bank President and CEO, Steve Tramp. “Adam has been at the forefront of significant growth in the bank’s commercial loan area and has been instrumental in expanding BLC’s presence in the Fox Valley Area.”

Adam joined BLC in 2013 as a commercial lender. With more than 18 years of experience in the field, he specializes in a variety of commercial loans such as Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Financing, Working Capital Lines of Credit, Acquisition Financing, and Healthcare Industry Financing.

“Having grown up in Little Chute with many local connections, I’m very grateful to be part of the team at BLC,” says Adam Lange. “We have so many loyal clients and employees, and I’m thankful for all of the great relationships and friendships. I look forward to continuing to expand BLC’s footprint, serving as many individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas as possible.”

Lange holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is active with several charitable organizations and currently serves as a Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce Board Member and Heart of the Valley YMCA Board Member.

“Mel has been an integral part of expanding our residential mortgage program and developing a Private Banking package for bank customers,” states Steve. “Her attention to detail and concern for her customers has been fantastic.”

Mel came to BLC in April of 2019 from Nicolet Bank with 21 years of experience in industry. Her background and experience in retail and lending made her an excellent fit to start a Private Banking program at BLC.

“I am blessed to be part of the team here at BLC, where our focus is on our community and the customers we serve,” says Mel Hietpas. “That focus allows us to build strong and meaningful relationships with our customers ensuring that we understand their goals, their vision and their dreams.  Being able to partner with my customers on their financial journey and aspirations is extremely rewarding. I am very grateful that the culture and environment at BLC helps to make that possible.”

Hietpas holds numerous banking and leadership certifications, and most recently completed the Leadership Transformation program with Initiative One. She also believes in BLC’s mission and is active with several charitable organizations and currently serves as board member of the Fox Cities Victim Response.

BLC would also like to extend its thanks and gratitude to Jim Geerts, who brought an incredible level of experience to BLC’s Board of Directors for 18 years.
