Certificate of Deposit (CD)
BLC Community Bank offers a wide variety of FDIC insured certificates of deposit (CDs) at interest rates which will satisfy most investors. With a minimum balance of $2,500.00 you can open a Certificate of Deposit at BLC Community Bank. Interest frequency varies according to the term and the amount of your initial investment. Interest may be received by check, directly deposited to an account or added to the certificate. Certificates will automatically renew for the same term at the current posted rate of interest unless redeemed within 10 days of the maturity date. - Flexible terms from 6 months to 5 years
- Several options for payment of interest earned; accumulate, by check, or conveniently deposited into a BLC checking or savings account quarterly and at maturity
